Family Membership Hours | Frequently Asked Questions

Fitness Alive is excited to announce a new Family Membership program, providing member-only hours on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for open swim and play. Memberships may only be used at our Center City pool location (1425 Arch Street).

About Family Memberships

Those who sign up for a Family Membership will enjoy access to our Center City pool for open swim during our Family Membership Hours (listed below). Want to bring a friend? Drop-in guest passes are available for an extra fee. Additionally, Family Swim Membership grants you free tickets to our themed and pop-up Family Swim events for the wider Fitness Alive community.

Membership Tiers

All memberships are month-to-month and charged on your enrollment date. You will be charged a one-time initiation fee of $25 at your membership onset. After that, your monthly fees are as outlined below. To cancel, simply give us 30 days written notice to info@fitnessalivephilly.com.

  • Family of 4 - $65/month

  • Family of 5 - $80/month

  • Family of 6 - $95/month

+ Who can sign up for a Family Membership?

The membership holder must be an adult aged 18 or older — no exceptions — and must hold a valid credit card.

+ Who is included in my membership?

During sign up, you will include a list of family members who are included on your membership. You count as 1 person. So if you sign up for a Family of 4, for example, you can add up to 3 other family members.

Non-family members, such as a nanny, can be included on your membership. However, they will count as one of your allowed spots.

+ Does my infant/baby/toddler count as a family member on my membership?

Yes. Additionally, non-potty trained kids must wear swim diapers. No exceptions!

+ Can I bring guests?

Yes. Each visit, you can bring up to 2 guests who are not included on your membership. Guests will be charged at a drop-in rate of $10 per visit. Guest will need to sign waivers at the front desk.

+ Is there an option for a family of 2 (or 3)?

Our minimum membership level accommdates up to a family of 4. So families of 3 or 2 swimmers should choose that option.

+ Do I need to sign up for a Family Membership swim session in advance?

Nope! Once you are enrolled in a Family Membership, you can just show up to swim at any of the days and times listed above. You'll just check in at the front desk; photo ID may be required.

+ How long is the membership for?

This is a month-to-month membership, so fees are billed monthly to your credit card on your signup day. So, for example, if you sign up on the 10th, you will be charged next month on the 10th.

+ How do I cancel my membership?

Please give us 30 days written notice before your next payment date and we will terminate your membership. If we receive your cancellation with less than 30 days notice, you will be charged an additional month’s fee. Need to pause your membership? You may do so for up to 2 consecutive months. Again, give us 30 days written notice and we will gladly hit the pause button. We do not offer refunds on partial membership months. Memberships can be paused or canceled by emailing us at info@fitnessalivephilly.com.
